LOng Distance RelatiOnshiP

Time slows down when your not around. Our last moments together, replay in my head. You said we'd be together forever, The letters from you are all that I've read. I count the days until you come back, Each day becomes longer In my life, It's you that I lack and I try to make myself stronger. My eyes fill with tears When I think of you, My head fills with fears, and I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do, to make the days go by. I miss you, and there's no doubt to why. I wish I was still with you twenty-four-seven because you were my angel sent from heaven Credits* photos: iamkrislea.tumblr.com >>> follow me please =D * poem: anonymous -- Google search

Nothing Unusual

It's been quite long since my last post. I think 2 or 3 weeks, just an estimation. Well, what happened to me? Nothing unusual. Same as before. Doing chores at home, schooling, clicking on ads, and most recently i'm addicted playing with the pet society, farm ville, and farm house in facebook. I always update it, and i think this is one of the reason why i have no time to blog (too bad for a blogger but too good for an online game addict hehehehe). Well, if you want to see my pet here she is :

Pink again! That was my brother told me. LOL. What funny about pet society is that we had a picture shoot by my bf (well, he had his pet too) Here it is.
Anyways, i've been very busy in school even though i just have one subject during this semester. Maybe the reason was after i went to school, i go to my student to have a tutorial service for him, then i'd be around 9 in the evening wherein i have to proceed with my online writing jobs. By that, i just sleep for only 6 hours a day which is not helpful for because i'm anemic and i need a plenty of rest which is opposite of what im doing this past few weeks. On other the hand, our preliminary examination will be on 13th-16th of July (next week). Again, i will not be able to post blog updates by that time. But i will try to visit yours every now and then. Well, to end up this post since there's nothing unusual happened to me in the past weeks, i would like to post a quote by the famous Confucius:
The man of wisdom is never of two minds; the man of benevolence never worries; the man of courage is never afraid.
That's all for today! Bye for now! Blogging shortly!

Emo

I was scanning my photos in my computer folder awhile ago and i saw my emo pics there. It was shot by my bf through ym. LOL. But i wondered when do the term started? What was its origin?

Emo is a style of rock music usually characterized by a melodic musicianship and expressive, often confessional lyrics. It originated in the mid-1980s hardcore punk movement of Washington D.C. where it was known as "emotional hardcore" or "emocore" and pioneered by bands such as Embrace and Rites of Spring. As the style was echoed by contemporary American punk bands, its sound and meaning shifted and changed, blending with pop punk and indie rock and encapsulated in the early 1990s by groups such as Jawbreak and Sunny Day Real Estate. By the mid 1990s numerous emo acts emerged from the Midwestern and Central Indie States and several independent record labels began to specialize in the style. Emo broke into mainstream culture in the early 2000s with the platinum-selling success of JImmy Eat World and Dashboard Confessional and the emergence of the more aggressive subgenre "screamo". In recent years the term "emo" has been applied by critics and journalists to a variety of artists, including multiplatinum acts such as Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance and disparate groups such as Coheed and Cambria and Panic at the Disco. In addition to music, "emo" is often used more generally to signify a particular relationship between fans and artists, and to describe related aspects of fashion, culture, and behavior. -wikipedia
Well, with that, i already knew when and how it started. =D

Ice Age3: The Dawn of the Dinosaurs

Yesterday, we celebrated mother's day and presented special gifts to them. My family and I went out for lunch and dinner in the mall. As we passed through the cinema, i saw a poster of "Ice Age 3: The Dawn of the Dinosaurs" which will be in movie theaters this coming July. I really loved this 3D animated movie.
One of the known character here is Manfred, the mammoth. Manfred has a strong belief that every animal must only have a relationship with one other animal for providing they live together. "If you find a mate in life, you should be loyal", Manfred said in the movie. (I hope guys do the same, LOL!) Anyways, with his loyal attitude toward his partner, i wondered and asked, do all mammoths were really like Manfred?
Next is Sid, the Sloth. Sid is first exposed as fast asleep while all other animals move around a warmer climate. He was left behind by his of family because they considered him as an annoyance. However, when Sid met the other characters, the friendship was built due to his jolly and understanding attitude. Sid is the talkative type, yet suffers from lateral lisp that makes his "S's" and "C's" spitty!
Diego, the Smilodon. Diego is among the saber-toothed, brave, and frightened animal in the continent. However, Diego reasumes his role in the third film (as what i have read in the movie preview and he thinks he's been cared more like a kitty and would like to be respected like any smilodon would be.
Scrat, my favorite fictional saber-toothed squirrel. He never interrelates with the characters except where he hits Sid for saving his life. Acorns is his favorite food and the cause of the continental drift. I just like his face. That's all. He make me smile haha..
The Ice Age sequels, for me, is a simple and great movie in a way that it reminds people about the ancient/prehistoric animals and how they lived their lives in the past. That's the reason why ICE AGE is one of my favorite movies and I just can't wait for it to be in the movie theaters soon. =D
P.S. Thanks to the mall where i saw the poster!!!! hehe

Videoke: Setting Your Confidence Out

Almost every day in our neighborhood from 5 am to 1 am of the next morning, the customers on their "carenderia" or "karinderia" (whatever the spelling is), sing in the microphone, with a loud speaker, of their all time favorite songs even though they are out of tune. hehe.. Well, it disturbs me a lot especially when im busy writing articles. Instead of being annoyed, i'll just laugh of what i've been hearing everyday. haha.. Same songs, different renditions, different so-called "singers." And, one more, the "carenderia" or "karinderia" is just along the highway, so what do you expect, everybody can hear them especially the jeepneys and cars passing by, but they don't mind it, they have all the "confidence," in tagalog, "wala akong pakialam sa inyo, trip ko 'to."
Videoke is a very popular type of leisure in the Philippines. An entertainment in which proletarian singers or just anyone who would like to try singing, sing along with the recorded music by means of a microphone. On the video screen, the voice of the original singers are muted and the lyrics are shown with matching moving cursors as well as changing text colors so that one could easily follow the lyrics of the song. These serve as a lead to productively deliver the song. It could be in a TV with a player attached to it or it could also be a videoke machine wherein you just insert 2-5 pesos coin and press the buttons to enter the number of the song you want to sing and then play it. I admit that I also have the fun and pleasurable memories singing on videoke with my friends and family especially on birthday parties. There are also videoke in some malls here in the Philippines as part of the entertainment and recreation aside from shopping. I can say that videoke is a medium in which people can set their confidence out. It is not just to those who have the "sweet" or "golden" voice, but it is for everyone who would just like to enjoy each moment before or after a hard and busy day of their lives.
